Vincent Kirschner studied law from 2013 to 2019 at the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich and at the Universities of Geneva and Lausanne (Switzerland). He participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and has coached several teams. Vincent majored in Public International and European Law. From 2015 to 2019 he worked as a student research assistant to Prof. Dr. Dr. Wiater at the University of Munich. Since October 2019 he is a research assistant at the Chair for Public Law, Public International Law and Human Rights (Prof. Dr. Dr. Wiater). From December 2019 to December 2021, he completed the legal clerkship programme (Rechtsreferendariat) at the Rostock Higher Regional Court with traineeships at the German Navy Command, an international law firm in Munich and the European Commission in Brussels. Prior to his university studies, Vincent served two years in the German Navy and he is an officer of the reserve.
